ABOUT ME
Hello and thank you for visiting Laurabelle Aesthetics. My name is Laura Thomson. I am Registered Nurse with 18 years experience in both Acute and Chronic Disease management within the NHS. I received my Independant Nurse Prescriber qualification from the University of Dundee in 2016. I had an interest in Aesthetics for many years however with 2 young children, life was too hectic to start my own business. Once they started school, it was time to focus more on my career and I completed my first Aesthetics qualifications in Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers in March 2018 with Renu Academy, Dundee. Since then, I have completed further training in injectables, skin treatments, skin care, medical weight loss and have plans to enhance my treatment portfolio even further with more advanced facial treatments so watch this space...
I continue to work within my clinic alongside my current role within the NHS with the goal of delivering the best evidence-based and safest care possible to my patients. I am also now a member of the Renu Academy training faculty and love teaching new medical practitioners the skills and knowledge required for a successful career in the Aesthetics industry.
